Summary

End of July 1999 the people of the birding group also were catching Orthoptera (Bush crickets / Crickets etc)in the North Eastern part of Slovenia, close to the Hungarian border. This area is called Goricko or Preska Mura and even resembles my native country Holland. After the start of this summercamp, organised by the biology faculty of the university of Ljubljana, the mentor Peter told us he expected only few birds and also wanted to take a look at the grasshoppers. On two localities close to the campingsite grasshoppers were caught for about one hour. Often the catching to place in the late afternoon. All grasshoppers were determined and collected in alcohol. It resulted in the observation of about 40 Orthoptera species. Very good in my opinon. Although in the beginning we had some problems with determining the species but at the end of the camp the differences were clear to us. Because we collected all specimen it was easy to compare current observations with old observations from previous days.

Porocilo o interdisciplinarnem delu ornitološke skupine – nabiranje in dolocanje kobilic

Po zgledu velikega zoologa in biogeografa Sergeja Matvejeva, ki je del svojega bogatega opusa o pticah in kobilicah ustvaril tudi v Sloveniji, smo clani ornitološke skupine tokrat razširjali svoja obzorja še z lovlenjem in dolocanjem kobilic. Ko ptice v opoldanskem poletnem soncu obmolknejo in se poskrijejo, takrat so kobilice najbolj aktivne. Zato smo se po jutranjih ornitoloških terenih namesto na zaslužen pocitek v senci marsikdaj odpravili še na lov za kobilicam. Vecje vzorce smo nabrali na petih lokacijah:

• Šalovci (termofilno travnato-grmovno pobocje pri osnovni šoli),
• Frimova gošca (gozdna jasa in travnik),
• Kuštanovci (peskokop in vinograd),
• Novi vrh nad vasjo Domanjševci (travnik obrnjen proti J),
• dolina Ledave S od Ledavskega jezera (mocvirnat travnik, visoko šašje).

Drugod smo lovili priložnostno in dolocali kobilice na terenu v roki ali po oglašanju. Mnoge kobilice so nam prinesli tudi kolegi iz drugih skupin, za kar se jim toplo zahvaljujem. Tomi Trilar nas je opozoril na oglašanje mocvirskega murna pri Hodoškem jezeru. Pri dolocanju nam je pomagal Andre Hospers. Obema hvala.

V nadaljevanju podajamo seznam nabranih in dolocenih vrst kobilic. Nomenklaturo in sistem smo povzeli po H. BELLMANu (1993; Heuschrecken. Weltbild Verlag, Augsburg).
