| Bridge over the Onychogomphus
forcipatus creek |
| This
is a creek on our way to the commando-bog. It's
not far from the summer house where we stayed. On
this place a male Cordulegaster boltonii had
his territory. On the sand roads through the pine
forrest and the open places in the wood arround
this creek a lot of Onychogomhus forcipatus (Klene
tanglibel) were sitting on the ground. In the
swamp left a special insekt was seen, I thought
the butterfly Frittary(Moerasparelmoer). |

The water was
rather deep (more than 50 cm) and the water was
running rather fast.
Earlier
this day I made three pics from an C.
boltonii-wife laying her eggs in a creek
that came from the pond with a 3-crossing.
This
picture shows the biotope of Ophygomphus. It was
close to our camping site at Kanepi, Tartu, East
Estonia. Here lots of dragonflies were seen.
